๐ When assessing data quality, one key question is often overlooked: is a dataset fit for a given purpose?
๐ก The 4th QUANTUM Project Forum will explore this user-centric approach through an interactive validation session.

๐ We wish you a very merry Christmas and a healthy, quality-filled New Year!
2025 was a milestone year. We released first project outputs, attended numerous high-impact events, and built many valuable connections with key stakeholders. Much more is coming in 2026, stay tuned!

Thanks too all the attendees, speakers and panellists for this great session!
More informaiton about QUANTUM: quantumproject.eu
The session ended with a panel discussion with some of these data holders having tested the QUANTUM labelling tool, discussing feedback, challenges, and improvements for the tool.
Jan-Willem Boiten (Health-RI) presented the first findings from the first mid-scale test of the QUANTUM quality labeling tool, with health data holders willing to test the tool and the assessment process with enough variability regarding organisation typology, size, maturity level and data types.
Claudio Proietti Mercuri (@ihisunitsciensano.bsky.social) is now presenting the QUANTUM tool itself, which allows data holders to:
- Assess datasets quality/utility
- Generate and visualise data quality and utility labels,
- Provide transparent assessment of data holders maturity...
Lorenz Dolanski-Aghamanoukjan (@goeg.at), presented more in depth the QUANTUM label, the specifications of the datasetsโ quality and utility label, the specifications que the data holders' maturity, the consensus process and implementation challenges.
Enrique Bernal Delgado, coordinator of @quantumproject.bsky.social presenting the projects and its main goal: respond to the #EHDS regulation by providing a #dataquality and utility label for the secondary use of #healthdata. #EPH2025
Elina Drakvik, coordinator of the @tehdas.eu joint action opened the session by presenting key aspects of the European Health Data Space, and TEHDAS' expected impact, which is to improve, implementation, coordination and best practices for the #EHDS and the secondary use of #healthdata. #EPH2025
We are very glad to be at the European Public Health Conference in Helsinki ๐ซ๐ฎ with a pre-conference session dedicated to QUANTUM, and how it aims to ensure Health Data Quality for better public health research and policymaking. #EPH2025
