The third and final event of a 3 race series at Salcey Forest today with Trail Paws Canicross Challenger. And 3 cool wooden medals which slot together to make a mega medal 😁 Still buzzing from running through the woods with my best girl 🐾❤️ Very well organised event, great fun

New book today from The Cabinet of Curiosities in Haworth. The smell in the shop is delightful and there is some really interesting stuff in there. Could have filled the van with all sorts of witchcraft and remedies but for now I will entertain myself with stories of poisonings .... 😆

Loved it! Had been worried about the clough after the river crossings as had gone up for a reccee last week and couldn't see the way through, so was pleased to get through that. The pie was amazing! Going to think about 10 res next year (will need the early start as I am not getting any quicker 😆)

Favourite 4 from November ❤️ A month of Highlands, Hebrides and Lake District. Taking some time away from normality has been hugely beneficial in so many ways, back home tomorrow and feeling excited to see family and friends 🥰

Having a few days away in the north. Not doing what I hoped to be doing as feeling incredibly fatigued, physically and mentally. Instead am doing a lot of chilling and just being. And what a great place to do that. A steady walk, dinner at The Lion Inn and watch the dog watching the sun go down ❤️

First attempt at plum jam this evening as our plum tree is absolutely laden. Probably cooked for a little too long as it has slightly caramelised but it tastes ok (if you like your jam with a slight smoky toffee apple taste) 😆 Looking forward to another attempt ...
