Made by ex-Housemarque solo dev, so nice alternative if you aren’t playing Saros in a week.

It's pretty good, yeah. I do wish they did offer mouse mode as an option. Problem I have with the KB+M scheme is you need to hit a button to go into hacking mode, but the hacks can be done faster accordingly. S2 could have the best of both worlds, mouse aim with face buttons for hacks

Nope

Still blown away how far these have come, they look so good and feel so premium. The Galaxy ones specifically are genuinely small statue territory, they are great.

Would love to pay less, but $25 isn’t too bad compared to tariffs prices, and the quality is clear too.

Would be better if they dissected our the Fortnite crew too, but it’s a nice first step.

I have to imagine they feel the online competitive multiplayer is critical to Splatoon to not offer a discount. Still, nice entry point into the series is great, and it’ll offer a chance to test stuff for 4

Hoping for a June direct for H2 updates.

Also you can’t hide your June game forever Nintendooooooooo

Hey. Hey everyone that was complaining about $80 MKW for 10 months.

Last three major Nintendo game announcements were all for lower-prices games, along with cheaper digital across the board.

I k ow you’ll find a way, but wanna spin that for an hour as bad???

It’s much better now between replaylee and the 60 fps patch

True, but sales are sales. Very silly to pretend a 30 million Nintendo IP is niche lmao

The point is prices are cheap now. Complaining that they’d charge $80 for a Zelda, especially a possible remake of what is considered one of the best games of all time, is asinine. It’s dynamic. These games are cheap so that those can be expensive, cause they’ll sell.

Literally one of the faces of the company. And why not? It’s almost outsold the Metroid series twice over lmao

Literally one of the faces of the company with 30 million sales.

It’s outsold Metroid almost twice over.

It’s not niche

Lmao, it really is just standalone Salmon Run it seems.

$50 digital, $60 physical is also great. July is gonna be a great budget month, and it's nice to see dynamic pricing finally swing in the opposite direction from MKW. Just need to see Fortune's Weave now.

It's almost like some of us said that shit for weeks now lmaoooooo

For real though, this is great, but still need a few more games for the trend to settle. Let's see what Fortune's Weave and the June game retail for.

Hope Zero and Guard can come back someday, after the next Star Fox. Still really love both of them.

That or make small, modular gameplay loops that can last for dozens of hours, like MonHun.

Honestly it’s the one blind spot in the S2 right now. Data says they are working on A Wilds port, but having World or S2 ports of Rise or GU would have been killer.

Honestly only thing they could have done better is focus on getting Mainline MonHun something.

Port of World, S2 editions or rise or GU would have been great. I know they seemingly are working on Wilds, but still.

Also throw in the great ports of Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-gami, along with the leaked rating for DMC5 and data suggesting Wilds is coming over.

They saw how much better re engine ran and went wild with it lol. An entire generation of games they couldn’t get easily into Japan.

With licensed celebrity cameos and Disney characters that they have to either throw in the trash after a month or pay licenses for indefinitely.

God bless whoever decided to add hoods/capes to link’s default look. Seeing it with the classic tunic and hat looks great.

Goes back to what we’ve been saying about this gen being Gen 8 2.0: at baseline gen 8 games already look very, very good, so more performance options are great in favor of fancier shadows and lighting.

Also helps that the game’s art direction is preserved so well. Like yeah, objectively other versions look way better. Do I really mind that much playing the S2 version? Not really, this feels like a full experience even without path tracing/fewer reflections.

Helps it’s a new IP. Might have been multiplat for years, but Resi is a Sony IP and most have built their libraries there. Still, stuff like the generation pack was great and I’m sure when they inevitably port the remakes it’ll help too.

Hope they also do an S2 version of Kakarot
