I've been thinking lately that both Bruce and Terry are splitting Alfred's role now. As Bruce gets weaker, Terry is taking care of him more, and obviously Bruce is the one who has to cover for Terry and make sure he wakes up after a sound thrashing.

oh OH remember when apparently Clark called Bruce because he was working on a mystery and he said "is Terry there" and Bruce said "no he's having an emo episode but I can help you solve a mystery" and for some reason Clark said "no no that's fine I'll wait until I can talk to Terry" xD

This one only occurred to me last year: Why would Waller and the JLU *ever* believe Batman would agree to kill a child? Do they not know him at all? Would he not take serious issue with his friends seemingly allowing him to do this? I wrote a whole fic about the fallout of that. Again, I fix.

- The notion that Terry has to be related to Bruce in order to somehow deserve his status, rather than earn it through a good hero's journey, is just asdflkjdsf
- I seriously have a twenty-minute video essay about this

- Everything Waller reveals makes the pilot of Batman Beyond more and more convoluted and weird
- Why would Phantasm ever agree to murder a kid's parents in the first place putting her there was POINTLESS FAN SERVICE
- Bruce and Terry already had a father-son relationship

-Terry is somehow even more emo and snotty at 32 than he was at seventeen, storms out while Bruce is scrambling for pills on the floor mid-heart attack
-Dana has never had any character development and after FIFTEEN YEARS of breakups they really ought to have just pulled the plug
