This isn’t stupidity tho… This is purposeful manipulation. They KNOW it’s a contradiction. They don’t care. The point is to push their base to shame others for “personal issues” while making trans-ness a “threat to American society”. It is intentional framing, and it works very very well.
To be honest it’s at least refreshing to see a politician have any kind of real plan in writing (the bar is in the toilet)
