The name “Joy Division” references a grim historical reality-not an endorsement, but a stark reminder of Nazi brutality. The band aimed to provoke thought and confront uncomfortable truths, not glorify or approve of those horrors. Context and intent matter. #History #Music

IMO Joy Division is an awesome name. I always assumed most people knew the meaning. The name was intentionally chosen to be provocative.

Led Zeppelin blatantly ripped of songs and passed them off as their own.

Rush being influenced by them is not at all the same.

The #Prince estate seems like it’s being run by money grubbing attorneys with no artistic vision. Prince is one of the greatest artists of all time but I’d rather the estate be dissolved than it having to be subjected to such shortsightedness.
