I love Pokopia and finished the story last night, it’s definitely my favorite Pokémon game in *years.* I really appreciated that it leaned into more of the sci-fi aspects of the series again vs the “here’s the 5000th legendary that’s also god, and its gonna be our whole story.” It’s my current GOTY.

Becca has scribbled out the image of the first one to censor it as she deemed it too spoilery, but the second is the image on a hoodie, of somebody sitting at a campfire in front of their spaceship. Haha it actually is! It sounds counter intuitive but the mode I shoot my camera in de-saturates the shots so it can take in more light data. Then I mess with both in post, with a lot of flexibility from the mode I shot in. It basically is designed to be adjusted in post :)
I do have limits though and just refreshed the video I had been watching to force a different ad that was a few seconds vs 17 minutes ha
I use Brave for general internet browsing but don’t use it for YouTube. I don’t expect other people to do this, but since I make YouTube videos myself, I don’t want to use an ad blocker with other creators who get revenue through ads. Especially since YouTube does weird things to those who block ads

Finally started a tumblr a few weeks ago and omg I’ve been missing out
OTHERWORLD from the game OMORI. Becca has taken the original 2D pixel art game and shifted it into 2.5D, meaning (in this case) the world is 3D but the character models are in 2D still. OTHERWORLD looks like an adorable pink mountain town. While there are trash containers everywhere, there's also loads of dreamy pink trees, grass, and a fun space theme going on. The scene is lit to look like nighttime.

Those are interesting ideas tbh- I hated streaming when I used to do it, but that was for a litany of reasons, including the fact I was actively playing the game in front of other people, and for too often, and long. Maybe if it was more of a chill just chatting thing the hour before a video drops?
I personally had the same thing happen too! Its so hard, I know a lot of creators have talked about it, but nobody has really determined any workarounds. I have a few ideas but idk if I'd have time to implement them while I have a series actively going. D:
I get multiple comments a day on my longform videos from regulars saying they had no idea I had posted because YouTube never notified them… I have no idea how to fix this issue beyond trying to post shorts in hopes of reaching them 😭😭😭
