This is still a work in progress, and Iโd love to hear your thoughts! For the next version, I plan to:
โ Add deformation effects for a stronger gravitational pull
โ Improve the readability of the climax, which still feels a bit messy

Each phase was really interesting to make:
Warning phase โ A brief moment before the attack is unleashed
Anticipation phase โ Energy gathering before impact (the most inspiring part of the anime)
Climax phase โ The full destructive force in action
Dissipation phase โ The remnants slowly fading away
I really love the Frieren anime, especially the final battle, which completely stunned me with its incredible VFX. So, I wanted to recreate the iconic black hole from that fight in Unreal Engine, bringing it to life in 3D!

Over the past few months, Iโve been working on several VFX projects using Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity. Here are some of the stylized effects I created:
AOE explosions with a stylized look
Stylized projectiles with unique visual impact
2D flame effect, designed for a dynamic and animated feel
