Look at these jerseys Binghamton will be wearing on June 6th:
This feels like such a good deal for the Mets. At the worst, Robert is a great defender in CF who steals 25-30 bases and flashes some pop. You have a 5-WAR upside, and they didn't give up a ton.

Less than 24 hours to go until the results of this year's Baseball Hall of Fame election are revealed. If trends with public voters hold, we'll be welcoming two new members: Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones. My latest projections with 223 ballots in @notmrtibbs.com's Tracker.
Coming on here (I know, I suck at posting on here more frequently) to say Kyle Tucker is very good and 3/150 would be good for the Mets.
Can't get enough of any Eephus-related content. Enjoyed the podcast.
Highly recommended this podcast with @davidjroth.bsky.social talking about Eephus:

🚨new episode out 🚨 talking my favorite new movie of the year, Eephus, with @davidjroth.bsky.social (plus, an intro from director Carson Lund!). this ep was an absolute blast to record

Eephus was one of the best movies I watched in 2025. This interview with Carson Lund was fantastic, too.

One of the best prospects in the 2026 IFA class originally had an agreement with the Yankees.
He broke that agreement and the Mets are now going to sign SS Wandy Asigen.

I like this deal for the Mets.
Feels pretty simple: Luke Weaver is good and 2/22 is not much for a guy who can pitch in high leverage.

It’s officially official. Steve Cohen and Hard Rock have casino license.
Metropolitan Park will begin construction next month and is expected to be complete in 2030.
The plans will significantly increase the parking spots outside of Citi Field.

Mets in Winter League action from Thursday:
Luisangel Acuña 2-for-6, 2B, RBI
Carlos Guzman 1 IP, 0 R, 3 K
Hayden Senger 0-for-3
Anderson Severino 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R
Adbert Alzolay 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R
Alzolay being healthy could be a lowkey boon for the Mets bullpen.
My research has turned up some exciting developments regarding Anthony Kay's uniform number in Japan
7 years ago today, the Mets announced they acquired Robinson Canó and Edwin Díaz from Seattle for Jay Bruce, Anthony Swarzak, Gerson Bautista, Justin Dunn and Jarred Kelenic.
Really like the Devin Williams signing for the Mets. He was much better in 2025 than his ERA would indicate, and it gives the Mets a high leverage reliever if they aren’t able to bring Díaz back.

They came to an agreement—that last time I checked, wasn’t disclosed.
Metropolitan Park is very close to official. Just a little more red tape and a $500 million fee.

Nimmo is a 10 percent above league average bat, absolutely imploding athleticism and decline markers, can barely play a corner outfield spot at this point, entering his age-33 season with five years left that the current FO didn’t sign. Getting “less bad contract that fits better” is a huge win
