Digital copies are still way more expensive than physical though, even with the new price cut. I would have just bought Pokopia on the eshop but it was like $109. I ended up waiting and got it at Big W for $79

From “The Simpsons” house genius John Swartzwelder, interviewed in The New Yorker by Mike Sacks
This game absolutely sunk its claws into me last year, shot to near the top of my all time list. It's hard to talk about without spoiling anything, but it's so cool to hear other people's journeys with it since pieces fall into place so differently for everybody
No worries! I didn't realise it was visible yet so you've inspired me to try tomorrow
There are two comets that should be visible at different stages this month, but I thought we'd be in between them at the moment. Did you take these today?
Hard to top Duck Dodgers. But I also love Daffy Dilly, Robin Hood Daffy, Ali Baba Bunny, Show Biz Bugs, the Abominable Snow Rabbit...
Seeing this guy's bones in the London Natural History Museum was like meeting a celebrity
Oh man, this exact image was fundamental to my childhood
Hell yes. The Fortnite season got me itching for a real game
I am weirdly more excited for new Simpsons merch than I am a new movie
Oh man. I haven't been this excited for a movie since the "Great Simpsons Movie Countdown of 2006-2007"
Even after that, I'm pretty sure the Simpsons team has the same arrangement with Disney that they had with Fox: the studio doesn't meddle in production day to day. (Not sure whose idea those terrible crossover Disney+ shorts were though)
I have a soft spot for greedy vain Daffy, because I guess those shorts were the ones I grew up on most, but the return to daffy Daffy is a lot of fun in TDTEBU. Love that Coyote vs Acme takes it to the logical conclusion and sticks him in an asylum.
"You gotta pet him so he can feel it" is the one we quote the most, but it's hard to resist that squished through the car window SLH
I love that!
I hardly ever see science news reach outside my little bubble, so it's been real nice to see everyone getting behind the story of NASA slingshotting a crew in a little tin can around the Moon and back safely. youtube.com/shorts/iWQWO...
*old man voice* I remember when you would find one shiny in your life and be happy for it! It might take 6 games but that was what made them special! You younguns don't have the patience, you work the system, or Pokemon Go hands them out like candy. The shiny economy is broken now, it's sad.*
I wish I'd thought of this 6 months and many thousands of dollars ago
I've just been made aware that planning a wedding involves a lot of planning. Are people aware of this
Wow I must still have heaps to go in Pokopia, I haven't seen anything like this yet
They did spend 2 movies setting up "oh shit dinosaurs are loose in civilization!" then didn't do anything with it before they went "lol nah they're all dead again"
I feel like I see this headline format a lot lately. Like, where the knowledge gap they're creating to get the click is what they're actually talking about.
"Walton Goggins' new Amazon sci fi series with an 80% RT score gets exciting update"
Just fucking say "Fallout" come on
We paired this with Who Framed Roger Rabbit for a Bob Hoskins double feature
Oh wow, I've never heard of that! I'll have to see if I can find it
Bob Hoskins as Mario in the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie, on a TV screen.
Heard everyone was watching the Mario movie this long weekend, so
I played it for the first time ever last year and it's not super accessible. It could use a ground-up remake honestly
There was a weird disconnect when they shelved Coyote vs Acme, like Will Forte said he felt "white hot anger" and John Cena was just "I respect the choices that the studio has to make"
I have grand plans to build a scale model of The Simpsons house in Pallette Town. But gotta finish the story first
I can only play Resident Evil Requiem in 10 minute intervals, interspersed with 2 hours of Pokemon Pokopia
