When I turned my phone off for this recital, Forest looked to be all at sea too. An hour later, after some terrific singing, Forest had been magic too!

That worked quickly
Apologies to my Palace friends, but come on Brighton!
Another "version" of Ibsen where everyone says fuck a lot and is on Instagram. I liked Romola Garai though.
Sorry, I'm talking about football. For this summer's World Cup authorities are hugely inflating transport costs and reducing space at grounds and giving it to sponsors, broadcasters etc. Previously free or cheap options are being squeezed out.
I've found out what America means by tailgating. It sounds like Fifa's World Cup would be like Glyndebourne charging £100 for the Lewes bus and then having no spaces available for picnics.
Some people finding the EES fingerprint system as tricky as playing Liszt.
From what I read it's not organised specifically for Magyar, but is totally anti Orban.
And at the end of the day.
Heroes' Square Budapest as tonight's Civil Resistance concert was setting up. Thousands heading that way as I left.
An excellent concert in a beautiful hall, and then I find a bar showing the Forest game. Budapest keeps impressing!
No flags today, they've gone as soon as Vance left.
Budapest looking gorgeous in the spring sun. I managed not to come across JD Vance which is another plus.
Thinking back to August when I visited this room.
I couldn't get WH tickets last time either, though I was lucky once before!
Mine too. It was my A level set work and I've loved it ever since.
Making the most of the sun.
Der Freishots, the shots being Jägermeister of course.
I'm on the South Bank again - it's beyond my control.
Oh that's a shame! I was lucky to be in a well behaved section of the audience.
I was at Siegfried the other day...
My pianist side pleased with the programme changed to include La Valse, my musician side disappointed to lose the Schubert. But then they did the F minor fantasia as an encore so happy all round.
A beautiful evening, and I'm about to hear Martha Argerich!
Long intervals are great at Glyndebourne and Bayreuth, but only at Covent Garden can you pop down to Chinatown for dinner.
I'm sure I spotted Nick Cave just before Siegried started.
All lunchtimes should have Beethoven and laksa.
I've been busy on World Piano Day, a complete run through of Come From Away.
Last day of this term and every single pupil remembered their time this week. Great way to go into the break!
