Today I've learned that I am the only one in my family who has this problem, because humans normally don't hear noises this high-pitched, and so far literally every person I've asked if they hear it they said "hear what?" and I might just have cat (or fox)-level hearing

So my neighbours have this device in their garden that makes this very loud high frequency beeping noise that's supposed to scare of roaming cats and I get scared every time it activates.

I'm so scared it's not even funny
