Just checked out some fan footage on YouTube, and surprisingly both mics were fine in the stadium, just mute for the stream. FFS.
Might also explain why some vocals sounded quiet in the mix to me.
Bit disappointing that a large scale operation had that obvious an issue.
Posts by Neil can’t be arsed.
Thought Mastodon were doing an instrumental of Supernaut til I spotted the drummer singing into a silent mic.
Then when Alice in Chains came on, much to my annoyance, Jerry’s mic was similarly silent.
So, unwilling to pay £200 for seats at Villa Park, I paid to livestream #BacktotheBeginning yesterday. First time I’ve done this, expected buffering or poor picture but there was none of that. However.. I noticed a couple of sound issues.
I think the US and Israel are going for 'weapons of mass destruction ' Part Two!!! More lies, false flags. Two unstable leaders, who many think ARE the problem!!!
Just listened to Seann Walsh’ podcast with Adam Rowe.
Fucking hell, he gets some stick Adam but that’s some story. Nothing but respect for him after hearing that.

Wonder if Labour are starting to realise pushing the left away means they stay at home instead. Turnout in Runcorn down 14% on 2024, more than enough to cover 6 votes.
Personally I’ll never vote Labour again unless the party is gutted of the twats who threw the 2017 and 2019 elections.
Fruits of Privatisation.
90% of England water companies owned from abroad, including state-owned companies.
50% of customer bills fund China-based corporations.
Dividends, interest payments exported. Poverty, industrial degradation at home

Think Liverpool missed a trick today, could’ve announced one or more of the contract rebels had signed and the number of people who’d dismiss it as an April fool would’ve been millions. Would’ve proper outed the ITKs as well.
Your bills are going up because this government would rather protect the profits of a few corporations than the livelihoods of millions of ordinary people.
End this outrageous rip-off, and take water and energy into public ownership now.
Finally gotten round to starting Alexei Saes Imaginary Sandwich Bar series on BBC Sounds - it’s awesome. The letter joke in episode 2 had me howling, so simple but superbly delivered. Pardon the pun 😎
Maybe there is an explanation about why I feel like my mind is at war with itself?

Ukraine gave up nuclear arms (Belarus, Kazakhstan, South Africa too) in 1996.
Received security guarantees from US, Russia, UK, France, China.
Russia attacked it, US wants its wealth, China is silent, UK/France can't defend it.
What are security guarantees worth?
More countries will go nuclear.
Season one of the Mad That podcast wrapped this week - 8 episodes starkly different and unique, whilst being incredibly interesting. Awesome body of work from HaveAWords Harry and Carl - already excited for season 2 when it comes.

Fifty three for a day and already I’ve fallen on my arse in public. FFS.
53 today.
Share my birthday with Mr Tony Iommi ( @iommi.com ), and that’s where the comparisons end.
He has hair and can play guitar.
I have a guitar.
Einstein tried to warn the world about Zionism & their terrorism, way back in April, 1948.
He really was a genius...
And yes, I will be seriously considering contributing to Mrs Osbornes bank balance.
Emphasis on the charity aspect, and Tony says they aren’t out there for the money. May be true, but I’m fairly sure Sharon is doing it for the money, and one last chance to milk the sabbath and Ozzy cow. Bet there’s all revenue streams planned for this and every angle will be covered.
Interesting but quite vanilla interview this, clearly Sharon’s show, gives nothing major away and doesn’t cover any of the difficult questions on Ozzy and Bill.

With Sharon front and centre it reeks of a big payday. That said I’m in if the tickets are affordable, and if not, it’s a certainty live streaming options will be available and all manner of recorded media will follow.
The Black Sabbath show at Villa Park is really interesting on a number of levels, besides the incredible lineup.
Can Ozzy do a full show?
Is Bill guaranteed? given he’s the only member not publicly pushing it as yet, and as AC/DC charge £150 a pop now, what cost a show like this?
Absolutely surreal listening to the Have A Word patreon podcast while they’re playing a Neil or no Neil quiz.

The Telegraph who hate illegal immigrants, advising Brits how to be illegal immigrants.
Not making new year resolutions or such like. But if I did, one would be to listen more often to my nephews (excellent) radio show, and another might be to share it as well.
