I've had hands on the RM2 via work.

It's very similar in response to the Kindle Scribe in my opinion, with the Kindle offering slightly more functionality.

In fact, the chap who had just taken delivery tried the Scribe and only dismissed it as we have security restrictions around the Kindle app.
