Side 2 of 4 of Dylan's Blonde on Blonde lined up and ready to go. Currently listening to I Want You. I am unlikely to stay awake beyond the end of "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" but let's see how it goes.

I meant to be asleep but, well, it's nearly Christmas, the coursework is graded, and this is just where we are now. #latenightalbumclub

FWIW, I sent the refund plus a bit to @transactualuk.bsky.social, because I know how much being kind to fellow humans annoys billionaires.

Can we all remember to do this though? Actually chase up the stupid trivial things they get away with? There's so much of it and they think we don't care but every little hammering on the rock gets that rock closer to falling to bits.

I was bored enough to try to find a human at Amazon, and, astonishingly, they agreed to a refund. Of £4.19. Jeff Bezos will have earned upwards of $50,000 while we were chatting.

They also said "thank you for your kind words" when I said something rude about Jeff Bezos. Maybe it wasn't a human.

I actually managed to talk to a human at Amazon and got a refund of the £4.19 I spent. In 2019. Which was honestly a waste of both of our time, except that (a) I was bored and (b) if we all do this, maybe something will get done. Eventually.

I'm looking for a Kindle book I bought in 2016. It's no longer in my account. I can buy it again when I find the order, but can I read it? Ha! Forget it.

I know better now and I don't do that any more.

Still... don't buy electronic content. You're only renting it. You knew that already, of course.

Me neither. It's so much more enjoyable here now.

I deleted my twitter account. Although I also then set up a new one with the same username just so that nobody else would. As if anyone would pretend to be me anyway... I wonder if it's still there.

I was tempted to ***** out his name, but then your mute filters wouldn't have worked either. My fingers resisted typing it anyway, but they managed in the end.

If you're going to post a screenshot of a Donald Trump tweet (or, anyone really, but especially him) please can you remember the alt text so that my mute filters can save me from looking at it when I haven't prepared myself?

(Also, please remember the alt text anyway. Be creative with it too :))

I guess it's fitting that it's a reimagined, worse version of someone else's artwork

I'm in Scotland, so creative swearing points may be easier to get for me.

If you hear "Last Christmas", look around you. Score 1 point for anyone who is visibly annoyed, 2 points for anyone audibly annoyed. Give yourself bonus points at liberty for any creative swearing.

Not that you asked for this but I have boring tasks to avoid so I did it anyway. This is probably not what it sounds like. www.type-driven.org.uk/tmp/graham.mp3

Zero tolerance for doomerism. Stop lazily accepting that everything is screwed forever. Stop normalising low expectations. That’s part of the problem & it’s what the bastards want. It’s also a product of privilege. People in more desperate situations don’t have the option to just sit back & shrug.

I am going to have to deliberately knock myself out of Whamageddon because:

a) Shopping is stressful enough as it is.
b) It's a cracking song. Why hide from it?

All those years at prompt school learning how to make prompts, and knowing that the true joy in the art is the process and the craft involved in coming up with the prompt, and now this!

(It's as if this person is *almost* getting it... the light will come on soon. Surely. Please.)

One day I'll work out how to turn it off, because it typically looks like it's following rules without thinking. I mean, imagine a computer behaving like that...

I'll probably wimp out. I see it's criticising my punctuation. It might have a point but I'm not going to let a computer tell me what to do. (Okay, maybe I will. This time.)

Folk-rock can have fun with this too :). I think there's at least some 5/8 and 7/8 in there, if I can manage to count that high.
