Once you factor in half an hour either side getting to and from the airport 18 hours on a train doesn't look so bad

I stopped posting here because they stopped dispensing little food pellets when I did. But maybe they were just refilling the dispenser...

I do not give the ACME corporation permission to use my dangerous inventions, my contraptions, or my convoluted explosives in my pursuit of the road runner in any of their marketing materials including in photo, animation, or creepy ultra-realistic CGI. All devious coyotes must post a note like this

Probably still my single favourite run of comics. Even some of the stories that now seem a bit goofy (e.g. the werewolf one) do it in such a charming way.

Looks fantastic! I'm involved in some broadly similar projects but none of them are quite so open/community-driven, I love the open-source focus.

I never actually experienced this growing up in Australia. But it was huge in Norway when I would visit family there. Norway generally had old stories from 20 years or so before, rather than translating the current American stories

Personally I love all the little spots in the game where you can get Torrent to climb a cliff in a way that feels like you're cheating a bit.
Having spots where you're not sure if you're "supposed" to be able to get there or not is good for creating a feeling of exploration.

Do you think young documentary narrators will have a parade when Attenborough finally carks it?

Name anyone who's kept that much of a stranglehold on an entire field for so long

I know hindsight is 20/20 but it was probably a mistake to create a society where "pitch decks" were the most valuable commodity and revered cultural output

is it time to bust out my "bigfoot is bears" photo collection again? if your mental image of a bear is a thick-furred, fat glossy male bear in autumn, you're probably not prepared for how weird their proportions can look in spring, or when walking upright, like they frequently do.

Are podcast producers just there to coach the podcaster through the terror of listening to a recording of their own voice every episode.

OMIA:000259-9685: Deafness, generic in Felis catus - OMIA - Online Mendelian Inhe...

I'm not a geneticist myself but I do some work on a website where researchers try to collect all the known info on genetic conditions in animals.

Deafness hasn't made its way into the list of things with a clear genetic cause yet from what I can see https://omia.org/OMIA000259/9685/
