EVERYTHING took a hit because of the war in Iraq. The Recession was a real thing and it was terrifying because there were no jobs and ANYONE was subject to getting fired and/or laid off.

Despite the Strait of Hormuz being used by mostly the Southeast Asian countries, EVERYTHING will take a massive hit. I’m sure there’s a lot more than what I’m saying out there. I’m just using these things as examples.

We also didn’t have a Strait of Hormuz either during the Iraq war. The Strait of Hormuz is used as a shipping route for A TON of products from the seafood that you eat to the cellphone that you use.

Iraq didn’t have a population of 92 million people back then. Iran CURRENTLY has 92 million people as of 2026.

Iran is not a small third world country anymore. They have technology that has caught up. They might actually be far more advanced than this administration thought on behalf of their stupidity.

The Iraq war was 20 years. How did we get there? Bibi Netanyahu convinced congress that the war in Iraq was needed and it was urgent. At least he had reasons that convinced the American people that his reasons made sense.
