10 days ago I took a photo of myself, in my seat, in an empty stadium, I honestly thought we were done and I'd never do another walk round with Christie or welcome fans again.
Thanks to the tenacity of Panjab Warriors I was wrong. Footy brings many memories but yesterday will live forever.

Thanks for all your reporting on this Martin. It has been very much appreciated by all Shrimps fans. I hope that this is the end of our troubles we've certainly earned a period of stability...but keep an eye on it! Now we just have to find a load of free agents to play Altrincham on Saturday.
The latest @uglygame.bsky.social. TBH, I'll only really believe when Panjab and the NL confirm.

Call me a cynic but I won't believe it until Whittingham has signed the contract and handed back his keys. We've been down this road before.

And, of course, he spurned a chance to speak to the BBC when they turned up on his doorstep last week, choosing to remain silent. If he wanted to get his case across in public why not speak with them?
A local Morecambe fan/businessman has already registered 'AFC Morecambe' at Companies House.
He's back, blaming everyone again for the delays and making absolutely no mention of when the staff might get paid.
I see he also has an 'advisory team' (aka Colin Goldring) now.
I bet they/he get paid.

We did a video hoping that Bond Group might see it and realise what the club means to people. (It's quite long!)
This is what @morecambefc.bsky.social means to us.
Please watch and share if you can.

He may not be listed as being a director or owner but what is there to actually stop him being being involved.
Similarly with Fleetwood and their chairman being imprisoned. He was forced to sell the club, so he sells it to his son. Does anyone believe that he has absolutely no involvement now?
Electrical contractors, who refitted the bar and changing rooms at Morecambe post season, have been back in today and stripped the lights out, as Whittingham hasn't paid them.
Come Aug 20th, when the NL pulls the plug, we won't even be able say 'will the last one to leave, turn out the lights'.
Unfortunately Whittingham cares for no one, not even the Secretary of State or the Prime Minister.
He knows he is probably not breaking any laws, but he has no morals, doesn't feel he's responsible for the people who he employs and has no connection with club or fans.
He only cares for himself.
Where's he living now? La La Land?
Just done an interview with Thats TV Lancs, talking about the situation at #MorecambeFC. Should be aired later today.
Whittingham doesn't get it but this is what we're all about.
Even if he does manage to kill us off, we will rise again and bring this all back because a football club is about the people who connect to it, not some absentee owner who's only interest is his ego and money.

Stories going around on Twitter regarding an investor involved with Jason Whittingham, who may be preventing the sale of MFC. @uglygame.bsky.social Do you think there could be any truth in this?
It's Sarbjot in disguise.
@uglygame.bsky.social @lizzicollinge.bsky.social
Hi Martin, this popped up on Twitter a couple of hours ago. Feels like Sarbjot all over again to me. Website still under construction etc.
Quick question Martin, with the club in breach of Company law by not having had a BoD in place for at least 3 weeks, what punishment is possible for the owner?
All support is welcome from anyone, especially high profile ministers. Will tugging on the heartstrings of someone who doesn't have heart make any difference? We can only hope so but another day has passed and the debts get bigger. How long before Panjab walk away?
Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has written to Jason Whittingham in an effort to get him to pick up a pen and sign on the dotted line.
I don' think there is word in the English language that adequately describes the sort of person he clearly is. I just hope karma has its day.
They did that months ago Martin when they still thought that Whittingham could be trusted to go through with a deal. Once bitten twice shy.
He just wants to kill the club.
He's happy to see young careers put in jeopardy.
He's happy to destroy the livelihoods of club staff.
He's happy to close a venue for cancer prehab patients, where veteran's and the elderly meet weekly. It's a lifeline for them, a place meet and keep active.
@uglygame.bsky.social
The latest....
One man is responsible for this and one man only. Supposedly the custodian of our club, instead he is a cancer that is leading it to a slow and painful death.
'A football club where no football is played.'
105 years of @MorecambeFC is teetering on the edge of oblivion.
@uglygame.bsky.social
The latest from Panjab Warriors as Whittingham goes back into hiding. Criminal.
Just need to drag Whittingham to the table now. Hope he's not too busy dreaming up another imaginary friend.
Well done @lizzicollinge.bsky.social. Let's just hope Whittingham finally plays ball this time.
@uglygame.bsky.social
Time for the fat lady to go and sit down....? ๐ค๐ค๐ค
No one understands anything Whittingham does. His entire life's work appears to be to destroy sports clubs. He did it Worcester Warriors and now he's almost done it to us (barring a miracle).
