Very sad to hear the news of the passing of Uziel Awret, who was a friend of the Journal of Consciousness Studies and guest edited two special issues of the journal. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.
I was surprised to learn that there is now a Journal of Sortition: www.imprint.co.uk/product/jos/. It's got an impressive editorial board and may well publish some good pieces. But it's pretty niche.
