I was balls deep with writing my Kaban and Chat in Rust/Wasm. All works fine, and I'm locked in it until SQLite.
I can't compile it on Apple M1

Apple Clang is a fork of Clang that is specialised to Apple's wishes. It doesn't support wasm32-unknown-unknown

Not long ago, WASM 64 was introduced, allowing WASM applications to use 64-bit memory.
This, including a native garbage collector, is a big step forward.
Right now Rust have this as tier 3 compiler support, so this is very uncharted territory
