Exactly! And since I write primarily horror, things that are a one-star for one person could be an auto-buy for another. Bring on all reviews, just explain them.

I'm glad you weren't afraid to mention the book. Sometimes people are afraid to call out an author or book. As a reader, only positive reviews don't help me. And as a writer, bad reviews with no feedback don't help me. I have a one-star review comment with only "DNF". Not helpful to anyone. 😂

Can we ask what you DNF'd and why? Always curious about others' opinions on books they didn't like...
