Ended the week, or maybe kicked off a new one 🤔, with another Eau Claire meet and greet this past Sunday. I knew many of the folks in the room, but it felt a little different this time, wearing my “congressional candidate” hat.

Meet and Greet #3 this week took me to Myville Farms in Osseo. Thank you to Craig and his extended family for hosting me. I really enjoyed talking (listening) with everyone there.
I had a great time in Hillsboro at Hillsboro Brewing Company; what a fantastic community space, with great food and of course beer! At one point, we even “absorbed” a group of book club husbands, and when their meeting wrapped up, the wives joined us too!
We had a nice little neighborhood gathering last night. I love seeing kids (and babies!) at our events. It's important that we invite families into these spaces since public policy impacts the young just as much as adults.
Happy Voting Day, Wisconsin! Don't forget to cast your ballot for State Supreme Court and your local elections: school board, county board, city council, mayor, town board, village board, and local judges.
Do you know what makes a country strong? Making sure its residents have healthcare, housing, good jobs, and education. Americans deserve a government that cares about them. We don't need a government that starts forever wars and then cuts healthcare to pay for war.

It was great to meet you!
Back at UW- Eau Claire to table with Aiden Vollmer to talk about the upcoming election with students. Once again had great conversations with students...this time in iconic Towers dorm!
The Berge crew and I attended three No King rallies in three counties and squeezed in a meet and greet in Black River in between the rallies! We joined local communities in Eau Claire, Black River Falls and Chippewa Falls to demonstrate that power belongs to the people.
Educators for Emily! Thank you to hosts Jim, Tina, Margaret, and Angela for hosting a wonderful event at Brewery Nønic. I believe in opportunity for all and that starts with public education.
If we want a government that centers regular people, we have to vote for candidates who center regular people. It's that simple. I am running for Congress because I care about our local communities; no DC insider or ultra wealthy vibes here.
I drove to rural Trempealeau County this morning to visit with local farmers about issues that are top of mind for them. I will always put Wisconsin needs over Washington wants. In fact, my whole campaign started with DC not wanting a primary but Wisconsin deserves a voice.
Thank you to Vernon County Board Supervisor Nathaniel Slack for your endorsement.
I continue to be proud of my in district endorsements. These folks are directly connected to the people of the 3rd CD and are leaders in our local communities. Local is where it's at.
After my morning in Chippewa and my afternoon of clients, I headed to the UW-EC dorms. I joined Aiden Vollmer who is running for County Board and is on the April 7th ballot. This district is 80% students and so it makes sense for a student to be their representative!
Happy Spring Voting!
We don't do crowns in a democracy. Join me this Saturday in Eau Claire, Black River Falls, and Chippewa Falls for No Kings.
Weather looks to be mid 40s and partly sunny. A perfect spring day to rally.
Find a No Kings rally near you! www.nokings.org
Grant Co! I'm coming back next week! Bring your friends and let's meet up:
Los Amigos in Platteville 1 - 3 pm
Livingston Clifton Firehouse Hall 4:30 - 6:30pm
This morning I visited Calm & Collected Cannabis Co in downtown Chippewa Falls. They are a family owned shop that has been part of the community for the last 3 years.
Thank you, Mary, for your endorsement!
"Emily Berge is exactly the kind of leader our communities need right now. As a U.S. Air Force veteran and Stevens Point Council Member, I understand how important it is to make tough decisions with integrity.“
We are almost ready to order our first batch of signs! Will you chip in to our Berge for Congress sign fund? Once we hit our $7,000 goal we will put the order in!

I joined the Eau Claire County Democratic Party today to door knock for the spring elections. It's important that we work together to make sure voters are aware what is on the ballot on April 7th. State Supreme Court, School Board, County Board and City Council.
Say hello to my family! Both of our kids will be old enough to vote for me in August. 🇺🇲 Oliver has been voting for a couple of years but Anna's first time voting will be August 11th - in my primary!
Thank you Soul Shine Photography for the beautiful pictures!
Last night, I joined a meet-and-greet of the Spring candidates. We have been through a lot as a community over the last eight years: the pandemic, discovering PFAS in our wells, the sudden closing of Sacred Heart, and standing up to hateful rhetoric towards our immigrant and refugee communities.
Join the Berge for Congress campaign next Saturday (3/21) for a cozy, crafting night in La Crosse! All ages are welcome. And all crafting skill levels are welcome.
We will bring supplies; you just have to bring yourself (and maybe a friend or two). 🥳 See you there!
Even Derrick knows the best candidate in Wisconsin’s 3rd! Check out the hashtag from DVO #wi03voteberge
Thank you to Jess Michaels for visiting us in Eau Claire and facilitating a powerful community conversation. Jess' courage in speaking out as a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse is an extraordinary act of strength.
Today I visited an in home childcare provider to talk about how we can support childcare providers, parents, and kids. Childcare is essential to our economy and our future. Childcare allows parents to attend school, go to work, and start businesses.
Local government for the win! I know public school advocates have tried to get this done at the state level but the majority party has not allowed it to be brought forward.
I was invited to Governor Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy's lovely home to celebrate Women's History Month. Their home was filled with powerhouse women from all over the state including many Mayors!
Happy International Women's Day! I have been fortunate to have strong women surrounding me; from my family, my 'moms on the run' crew, and professional network. I have run miles, gone on crazy adventures, laughed, and cried with these women. We support each other because that's what we do.
