For those who don’t know, Georgian journalist and media manager, founder of several free media, fearless Mzia Amaghlobeli has been unfairly detained for anearly 15 months.

The international actors and diplomatic missions in Georgia have widely condemned the prison sentence against opposition politician Elene Khoshtaria as disproportionate and politically motivated.
According to the OSCE Moscow Mechanism report, the recommendation for member states of the Chemical Weapons Convention is to refer the matter to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) “to investigate the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Georgian authorities.”

At least 12 Georgian protesters with unpaid fines accrued from blocking the road during demonstrations have had their bank accounts seized. Some of those impacted said they were not informed about the fines, most of which are dated back to around a year ago.

On the one-year anniversary of the arrest of journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli, 24 diplomatic missions in Georgia reiterated in a joint statement their call for her “immediate release.”
One year passed since the arrest of journalist and founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti Mzia Amaglobeli. Journalists held a demo outside Rustavi womens' prison in her support.
At this time, the Georgian regime is allowing Russia to use Georgian airspace and logistics corridors to support Iran during a regional crisis.
A country with 20% of its territory occupied by Russia is now facilitating Moscow’s support to Tehran.
