A windy and sunny start. Ran 6.5K. Saw a black cat in a window and a beautiful fluffy white cat on a driveway, gazing up into a tree. Three hellos. #Running #UKRunChat

A sunny but windy start. Ran a slow 7.5K, which seemed to go OK. Saw two Canada geese and a woodpecker. Also, a lovely white and ginger cat. #Running #UKRunChat
Thank you. Appreciate the support.
Thanks. That’s a good way of looking at it.
Ran a very difficult 8K. Just couldn’t get into it at all. One hello. One egret. #Running #UKRunChat
Ran 7.5K again, knocking 36 seconds off Monday’s time on the exact same route. No hellos and no cats, but saw an abandoned supermarket trolley and a lost mobile phone. #Running #UKRunChat
Thanks. Yes, it was great.
A glorious morning, with deep blue skies, warm blasts of sun and cool, fresh air. I had my best run for a few days, managing a comfortable 7.5K. Saw a beautiful orange cat sitting on a wall. #Running #UKRunChat
Tried a 6.5K run. It went a bit better (no coughing), but I felt my lungs were struggling. Thankfully, the rain held off. Saw a cycling club and a rat by the river. One hello. One woodpecker. #Running #UKRunChat
Thank you. That’s much appreciated. Hope you’re well.
I probably shouldn’t have gone running with a heavy cold and a bad cough, but for some reason I did. Managed 6.5K but felt truly horrible. On the plus side, it was mild and sunny. And two people said hello. #Running #UKRunChat
Planned a long run, but I have a sore throat so reduced it to 6.5K. A pretty black cat looked like he had something important to do. Less attractive was a plague of flies along the river path. The BBC said there was a “0%” chance of rain, but it rained anyway. #Running #UKRunChat
Ran 6.5K, including a big hill. It was worth the upwards slog for the long downwards stretch. One hello. One heron standing by the brook. #Running #UKRunChat
Thanks.
Thank you.
My best run for a few weeks – a fast (for me) 6.5K on which everything went well. The ankle behaved itself. And six people said hello. #Running #UKRunChat
Ran 10K in warm sun and cold blasts of wind. It was slow, but it went a bit better than the last couple of efforts. Twinges aside, my ankle was mostly OK. One hello. Saw a bird of prey (a kite?) circling dramatically over the field by the river. #Running #UKRunChat
Thanks!
Well done. That’s excellent!
A bright but chilly morning. The ankle pain is back again so I could only manage a slow 4.6K. Maybe I need to see a specialist. Two hellos. No exotic wildlife. #Running #UKRunChat
A chilly start. Ran a slow and weary 10.5K. Nearly flattened by a cycling club on the river path. Three wandering cats. One wacky baccy smoker. #Running #UKRunChat
Thanks. I think we probably need to have bad runs sometimes just to appreciate the good ones.
Thank you. Yes, hope so.
A very difficult 6K that felt like running through treacle. Maybe I went back too soon after the half marathon. One woodpecker. Three hellos. It was lovely to be met by my cat on the walk home. #Running #UKRunChat
Thank you.
Thanks, Louise.
Thanks, Laura. I appreciate it.
Exactly! I wish they could move it. Thank you for the good wishes.
Thanks. Yes, it absolutely poured but luckily most people had finished by then.
That’s good to hear. Hope you enjoyed the day.
