Started writing again today, and this time I'll just try letting things flow
3k words for today, a full first chapter of this new story
I feel that even though it's kinda niche, it's still easier to market and to write than my first try
Hopefully this won't take as long to write as the other!

Ended up having to lock in on art this last month, so my story is still at around the 25k words mark
I might've taken too much work in a single bite to get back at writing after literally a -decade- with a huge long-form story ๐ฆ๐ฆ
I might ease into it with an SB and/or SV quest, I guess!
Crossed over 20k words and 10 chapters, this is the most I've written in years!
A third of the way, two thirds left before starting to post it, let's go!!
Even though I'm having some terrible hardware problems, I'm gonna continue working and writing this for as long as I can!
My objective for now is to aim for twenty chapters, post seven within the first hour, and the other 13 one a day for the following two weeks.
If you're interested in proofreading though, hit me up ๐
I kinda need proofreaders, but I'm too anxious about reaching out friends to ask them to read my stuff
I also am aware that 2k words a day is a lot of reading, but that's the rhythm I gotta be capable of keeping up if I want to make this a job
A node graph view of all the different article pages I've wrote on worldbuilding alone for my new project
At least let it be known that I did a buuunch of worldbuilding for this place! I still need to figure out a name for the world and planet though :P
In related news, I can't believe it took me this long to start using Obsidian, what a great software
I just hope it's an interesting read and fun enough without reinventing the wheel
Sometimes, just getting a fun read is enough to satisfy that need for new stuff, and I'm honestly betting on that feeling to maybe get another source of income
I don't want to think of writing like that though
Spent the last week writing worldbuilding for a LitRPG scenario that I could absolutely convert into a medieval fantasy one for one-shots for other RPGs, and although I'm pretty much allergic to D&D after so many years, I still have many options in OSR and other systems to support something like it
I don't think I'll be able to stop with art for a while, at least until I finish my queue fully. I won't offer slots anymore, but I also won't refuse those that reach out for one because that's still keeping me afloat month after month
But I'm exhausted of having so much debt without any changes
I'm used to being verbose, to being descriptive. I hope that my writing isn't repetitive and that my worldbuilding is interesting enough to support the initial chapters
And that I'm able to bring enough people to be interested in what I have to say and tell
I feel like a GM of my own stories pff
I've done a ton of writing in my youth, but never anything in english. I've tried, like, once before, but didn't took it seriously enough.
This is probably my last chance to build something up for myself, and I don't know how successful it'll be at least for the first few months
Pulling back the curtains a little bit, art has been my breadwinner these past few years and it seems my creative well has ran dry.
Not only my burnout is becoming stronger over time, my finances dried up, extremely so, this last year.
I'm under serious debt and I need to diversify
Hence, writing
Started writing things for real today, and the day-to-day process of just sitting down and writing stuff feels like the easiest part for some reason
Sharing the draft with other people? Getting thoughts and opinions on my writing? EXTREMELY ANXIETY INDUCING
Art is all the same no matter the medium
These updates might take a bit longer to happen still but at least I'm trying stuff out!!
And I'm for the actual first time am questioning just how fluid I am regarding my gender
I'm good with my physical presentation, but if given the choice, I'd be a shapeshifter for sure
These last few days I've been working on worldbuilding for a LitRPG serial, or at least I'm gonna give it an honest try!
I like the idea of making RoC my writing-focused identity!
Might have to make a second off-shoot if I've ever dabble in adult writing as well, we'll see~
A logo for Rule of Caw's project, with an almost purple arcane book in the middle of a rune circle to represent the magic of content presented here!
Color's still temporary because the design isn't finished, but this is a sign of things to come soon~ ๐ฆโโฌ๐
