Remarkable.
MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful."
Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.
Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

And if there’s a shortage why is does the budget keep going up
Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.
No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.
1/ A 🧵 to explain his plan and how we fight back.
Passyunk is the obvious choice! Truly don’t know what’s holding them up
🎉 Open Streets: West Walnut is BACK for four Sundays this spring! Beginning April 6 and continuing every Sunday through April 27, pedestrians are invited to shop, stroll and socialize along seven blocks of car-free space along Rittenhouse Row. 🔗 bit.ly/3XCeCZV
Me too!
Yeah I took it today from 19th to 12th and had no blockages
👀
the way they leave these for months is a violation of the ADA
Yep I can’t remember what happens to the G in the now shelved bus rev, but it does go down there. Looking at this location, it’s really not that far from the bsl either if they got a good circulator bus and made biking to the station safe and easy. I have low hopes for that though
It’s doable! I’m cautiously optimistic about this. Definitely better than what’s there and hopefully it’s actually a real proposal. 1000+ units would be great.
Sadly not. 1200 parking spaces right off a freeway ramp and no transit. Could be remedied a bit by extending the 47 bus…but that requires funding
Yeah I’m almost happy to see storefronts opening up to allow this development. We need housing and many of the existing buildings are low density, car oriented and/or falling apart
It's been another rough week for pedestrians and cyclists in Philly. Two cyclists hit, one critically injured and another (Dominique Jones) dead. Two pedestrians struck while on the sidewalk in CC, both seriously injured. One lost their leg.
Agree! At the same time the sports district, which I live near, should not be allowed to continue polluting and congesting with no penalty. In fact they are lobbying to expand their freeways access. They have no incentive to promote taking septa. Please consider a congestion tax of some kind
If only
I think the initial increase was coming no matter what and frankly it’s probably time just due to inflation to raise the price
Hope this is true that they are ticketing for this. Really should be “included” in the billion dollar budget
It’s update?? Mine still looks the same I think
Haven’t heard a peep out of the Facebook groups about the Penrose roundabout recently because surprise surprise it’s working perfectly fine
🌲
This is an embarrassment.
We are America’s 6th largest city, yet we still lack a real intercity bus terminal for over a year now.
Thank you for covering this

I’ll be helping plant 15 news trees in my neighborhood tomorrow. The phs tree tender program is great
🤔
That’s so cool! My neighbors are talking about wanting to cut down the 3-4 trees we have because there’s a few leaves on the cars 😢
We are pretty much all set at this point
