Do you have suggestions on where to start learning sewing machine maintenance? I know the basics of cleaning and lubricating, but am very motivated to get to the next level

This miracle was enabled by CRISPR technology that was discovered in an extremely obscure corner of biological science—the study of bacteriophages—pathogens that infect bacteria. So many of the major breakthroughs in science come from research that many people consider a waste of time and resources.

Same. My father died on one his navy reserve weekends when I was 5. I was the youngest of four and my mom was pregnant with my little sister. We received social security support

Here is the front, embroidery and blocking complete. I have a little more embroidery to finish for the back side of the bodice, then cutting and sewing it together

Heavy starching will definitely make it easier to work with. I do that all the time with squirrelly fabric
Not sure what you’re asking with the second question

Thank you for your work. I’m so sorry that this is how our government has treated you. What a disgrace

for English smocking as in your photo, my smocking book says 3X the amount of unpleated fabric, but it depends on the fabric thickness. I am working on a project in very fine cotton lawn and wishing I had used 3.5 or 4X. Note this is. I have a lot more embroidery to finish 😬

Depends on how fitted the garment is. If it’s not very fitted, i usually skip the toile. And when I do make a toile, I try to use fabric that I like enough to maybe end up with a garment I want to wear

Two side-by-side images compare Kristi Noem's appearance in 2019 and 2025. The 2019 image shows her with natural makeup and a short, layered hairstyle. The 2025 image depicts her with darker, longer hair, heavier makeup, and a more sculpted facial appearance. The tweet above the images asks, "What has happened to Kristi Noem's face? 😳" and the post is captioned "Gender affirming care."
