that picaresque experiences have in the elements that shape videogames and in their sociocultural context.

As @t0mm7.bsky.social indicates, my new open-access paper "Playing rogues: Picaresque experiences in videogames" is out in Eludamos! In this paper, I define and explore what Picaresque experiences are using three digital games.

Just a bit of spam! The paper "Dungeons, Dragons, and Rogues: How Picaresque Literature Shaped the Thief Class in Dungeons & Dragons" that I have written with @t0mm7.bsky.social has been published in Games and Culture!
In my profile you can find two of my lastest papers and my webpage. Nice to meet you!
