NarraScope 2026 | The Experience NarraScope is a conference that brings together the writers, developers, scholars, and players of interactive narrative.

The Experience at NarraScope showcases interactive games and installations. This year we have some really cool stuff like Qualia by @cmy2k.games, ScribeOS by @antennasunite.bsky.social, and a bunch of other neat projects you can only see in person!

ScribeOS (Milo Duclayan) ScribeOS is a digital horror LARP for two players and two computers. One is the Operator. One is the Administrator. Together they will utilize the Scribe artificial intelligence to defend the United States from threats both human and inhuman, from within and without. Each role is mundane. Each role is more important than the other. Every action has infinite interpretations. The program lasts for 21 minutes, during which there are only four rules: Respect your partner. Never see your partner’s screen. Remember that your partner is not to be trusted. Never speak while Scribe is active. When all truth comes into question, what will you believe?

Also, come see ScribeOS in a physical exhibit for the first time ever! Available at all times during the conference, and I’ll be hanging around it relatively frequently to talk to people!

I think it’s well used in the game as a mental prep for the player’s expectations. It’s good to at least know the direction of what you’re getting into. Also lets them do the fun payoffs with things like throwing the boule.

Extremely happy to say I will be starting my first ever paid, full time game industry job in April! After almost a year of searching, it feels good to finally have a foot in the door.
