Found object artwork using neon (krypton filled) tube bent into circles over a doily with an old porcelain doll in the center. It is mounted on a circular background, inside an antique frame.
Mental Loop. This "neon" tube is actually filled with krypton gas. This one was tricky to bend, as I wanted the tube to line up right above the circular shapes of the doily. My favorite part of this piece is the side eye expression of the doll.
No photoshop here, just the reflection of neon. This is the view from my neon studio, looking out the back window.

Neon letters in an outline font that spell out the word BELONG in all capital letters. Each letter is a different color: magenta, green, purple, orange, blue yellow.

Same gas, different colors. It's all argon gas, but the outer ring also has a small amount of mercury in the tubes, which shifts the color to blue as it vaporizes. "Regeneration", 2023 16" x16"

A pink neon light in the shape of the plastic centerpiece that goes inside a 45 record to allow it to play on a turntable record player.
I'm a day late, but in celebration of record store day here is a piece I'm currently working on that will eventually be mounted to a metal cut out of the same shape. If you grew up listening to 45 rpm records you will recognize it!

Yes, it’s quiet here. I haven’t gone back to Facebook and don’t plan to. I haven’t been on here much but that is mostly because I’m preferring more analog living over digital these days 😀✨
And art piece made using found objects. The frame is 4 times longer than it is wide, and the objects are mounted to a wood panel inside the frame. At the top spells out, 'I can walk under ladders', the words stacked above each other forming a triangular shape. Beneath the words is a wishbone. Beneath that is a leather star. Underneath the star is a vintage bisque doll holding out a coin that reads 'good luck'. The doll is placed inside an upturned, old rusty horseshoe. Below the horseshoe is an old skeleton key. Finally underneath everything is a clipping from an old newspaper which reads' Good luck appeals to everyone'.
GOOD LUCK APPEALS TO EVERYONE. This is a found object art piece that I made a few years back.
