Glassnode, an on-chain analytics firm, has analyzed Bitcoin indicators following the price drop. The Realized Price of short-term holders (STHs) has been affected, which tracks the cost basis of investors who purchased coins within the past 155 days. The STH Realized Price is currently at $92,500, meaning STHs are carrying an average loss of over 6% at the current spot price. If Bitcoin fails to reclaim the STH cost basis, it could lead to continued sell pressure from recent buyers. Historical patterns suggest that Bitcoin could fall one standard deviation below the STH Realized Price, which is around $71,000 to $72,000. The Cost Basis Distribution metric also highlights this level as important for the cryptocurrency. A substantial amount of investors have their cost basis above $87,000, but very few bought coins below this mark until the $71,000 to $72,000 band. This could mean weaker support in this range, giving bears more control. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is floating around $87,200, down over 7% in the last week.
