I may or may not also have a method to use these factors to work out the top meta mons in general, buuuuut I'll save that level of analysis for whichever team opts to save me from LFT hell

some outliers:

- aegislash sits at the top of the list as the #4 most played, yet it was only banned 3 times.
- poor machamp won only 1 game out of 10. amusingly it was also banned twice.
- in EU, ninetales wasn't played a single game, but was banned 3x.

top 5 mons on fraud watch -- or mons that have a high pick/ban rate but sub-45% winrate:

- umbreon at 45% winrate
- blissey at 45.8% winrate (HOW??)
- miraidon at a baffling 40.4% winrate (yet the #4 most banned)
- mewtwo at a comparable 40.5% winrate (tough times for attackers)
- elde at 42% (oof)

first some commentary on pick rates:

one, NA interestingly is the outlier when it comes to hoopa and elde. if you filter out NA, those two are the top picks for every other region I looked at. instead elde sits at #10 and hoopa at #13 in NA.

"why not x region" idk I had to draw a line somewhere, I mostly just wanted to have a bigger sample size of games to analyze, so doing that with all the western UCS events made the most sense. if someone wants to count up ACL data for me I'll add it in

also wanna note that while Dr_P0K3R's amazing work on his charts certainly helped inspire these, all my data was manually counted myself via either uniteapi or the official twitch broadcasts

and for the ban data I'll just throw in everything that got banned at least once

NOTE: this ban data is ONLY based on broadcasted games (69 out of the 94 total), because idk how else I'm supposed to find ban data

then have the top 20 highest winrate mons (which also happens to be all the mons with a winrate above 50%):

so being LFT has left me wanting for an outlet for my unite mental energy

one of my latest projects is counting and compiling MULTI-REGION UCS DATA -- pick/win/ban data from all of NA, EU, LATAM (N+S), and Brazil -- a total of 94 games

so first have the top 22 most picked:
