My Mom hadn’t had anything to eat or drink for days before she died. Apparently at like 3am on the day she passed, she randomly woke up and asked a nurse for a piece of cake.

And that’s the most ‘my Mom’ thing she could have possibly done. She was barely alive, but still asked for cake. 😅🥲

My Dad had to go to A&E yesterday; it turns out he has a kidney infection. He's on various IV drips and needs to stay in hospital. He is still in the A&E waiting room 24 hours later and there's no sign of a bed. The staff have been great but my God, top to bottom, this country is fucked
