Ms Ferguson invoking the Royal “we”. Or is it wee…

I am surprised no one knows or perhaps can’t be bothered.

…because Queenslanders can’t spell “beer”.

That’s interesting. So the politicians don’t know, they either don’t listen to the APS and or the APS doesn’t know. I guess that leaves “making it up as they go along” based on the squeakiest wheel and biggest donor’s desire. Shock horror, we’ve finally cracked it (the answer and the shits).

IMO like 99% of the rest of us, they know bugger all about anything but as career politicians and in charge of ministries and shit loads of public servants and advisors who are “experts” our elected officials follow their advice and hence they all have a vested interest in buying (eg) military toys.

Yeh. As Greens MP David Shoebridge points out, FUCUS would pay for NDIS cuts and social housing etc etc. but instead Albo and Marles want to spend it on fancy military toys that could not defend a cake of soap in a bath tub if China so wants to pull the plug out.

I especially remember Lisa Miller in London gushing all over the place about the Royals. Her presence pretty much describes the nonsensical path much of the ABC News and current affairs shows are walking. Commercial fluff.

What do Americans call a TV? Radio with pictures.

Australia has 50 million Kangaroos. Fosters collects their piss which would otherwise go to waste, puts it in cans, calls it beer and exports it to unsuspecting foreigners. The promotion of it by actors in the genre of the Marlboro Man completes the myth that its authentic and drunk here. It ain’t.

Why is Queensland’s brew of malted barley, water, hops and yeast called XXXX… said “4 X”?

💯. China’s technological advancements that benefit its people and make lives easier, cheaper and more convenient to live are winning the hearts and minds of its citizens while America’s ICE agents are locking up people and the US military is bombing the shit out of the citizens of other countries.

IMO the States saw the NDIS coming and thanked their lucky stars. The Federal govt created an entity that enabled the States to divert people who should be looked after by the State and Territory health depts to the NDIS scheme and that’s part of the cost blow out. The NDIS is not a health provider.

The NDIS cannot keep growing as it is nor can the export of gas not contribute to Australia’s prosperity. If NDIS recipients are to pay their way more then so should the gas exporters. Quid pro quo and then some. We could have nice things if Albo and Chalmers etc have the guts to do what’s right.

Think you may be a bit hard on today’s Labor. Old Labor implemented the NDIS to help disabled people who were not looked after by the States. Then they got turfed out and the coalition who didn’t want it, had no understanding and ownership of it, let it get out of control. Now someone has to fix it.

Can I have an entity rather than an individual? I take indulgence in advance.

The Catholic Church.

Here’s the solution to the gas export companies and opposition etc that claim the Gas Co’s will go out of business or other catastrophies will be visited upon them if the 25% tax is imposed. Impose it. If they look like failing or pulling out, take the tax off. Proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Fossil Fuels have their use, for instance there is currently no viable alternative to jet fuel or diesel for long distance heavy transport.

And renewables also have their place, roof top solar and electric vehicles for example.

The current debate is one or the other - whereas horse for courses.

I believe in science. But I don’t believe in scientists wasting their time and someone else’s money researching the impact cocaine “contamination” in waterways has on fish behavior. I also don’t believe in the ABC reporting on it. Can they stop being self obsessed fuckwits and focus on what matters.

The Australian ruling class is worried about China becoming influential in the South Pacific making “security” arrangements with Vanuatu for example. But is not worried about America stuffing our economy violating international law attacking Iran profiting from the huge increase in the oil price.

When will the Australian State and Federal governments work out that the Fossil Fuel companies are exactly like the Tobacco companies.

Their products are addictive, plentiful, and hugely profitable and can be taxed outrageously without any negative impact on the availability.

Could this be the off ramp our government requires to cancel the AUKUS Submarine farce?

For God’s sake they need one. So far the cost, the futility of the type and number of sub’s, the timing of getting them (if we ever do) and the unproven design (not designed yet) has not lead to cancellation.

The Liberals say Australia should be a responsible and reliable international partner when it comes to energy supply regarding the proposed 25% gas tax. Of course the Liberal’s bestie Donald Trumps America having attacked Iran and caused the current major upset in global energy supply is aligned.

I found myself exposed in error to 7 Sunrise and heard a new term for me at least.

“Agenda Setters”. Referring to talking heads on anything they might regard themselves experts on. In this case it was AFL paid for comments people.

Hence forthwith I am no longer retired, I am now an Agenda Setter.

Like him or hate him, (I don’t have a view) at least Stammer stood up in British parliament and apologized to Epstein victims for his “oversight” appointing Mandelson unlike anyone else implicated or associated with the Epstein saga I can think of. Mostly they blame others or the victims for lying.
