But our defiance and protest can’t stop here! Continue the fight by joining a local organization like the Beach Cities Democrats, Torrance Democratic Club, Palos Verdes Democrats, or Indivisible / Swing Left South Bay LA.
More than 8 million people showed up across 3,000+ events nationwide today to say NO KINGS, and the South Bay LA really showed up just like last time.
There are peaceful, community-led No Kings protests happening all across the South Bay tomorrow. If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, this is it. Show up, bring a sign, and stand with others.
We’ll have a table at the Torrance protest too.
Please mark your calendar for our next meeting, where we will take up another round of endorsements: April 22 at 7 PM on Zoom. All are welcome; however, to vote, your membership must be current as of our March 25 meeting.

Even if a candidate drops out before the election, their name will still appear on the ballot, as they’ve all filed past the deadline by now, potentially siphoning off even a few votes.
62 candidates are currently on the June 2 ballot for California governor.
We’ll also be collecting gift cards to support immigrant families impacted by ICE through the H.I.L.L. Network.

We walked in love and solidarity for Keith Porter Jr., Renee Nicole Good, Alex Pretti, and Silverio Villegas-González, and all lives taken by ICE thugs. Thank you to everyone who came and to the organizers who made this happen, showing that the South Bay stands for justice and demands ICE out now.
