I’m impressed with the quality.

The construction is really good. It is a solid piece of black leather with the letters cut out, leather laid under it and stitched in place.

The big thing with gumbo is the texture that and using huge honking chunks of tomato.
You can start a holy war among people on if a good gumbo should contain tomato or not.
Truth is even anti-tomato people will often add tomato paste for umami. But when it looks like chili something went wrong.

Yep. Same thing goes for gumbo. Although to be fair I won’t generally eat gumbo more than 50 or 60 miles off of the Gulf.
A lot of of the variations taste like sadness.
Some of them are very good soups but made by people who have no idea what gumbo is
