They latch onto everything. A group abused the Muslim Sister of Eire as well at their soup kitchen run. Absolute cretins

Head scratching for me that there is widespread condemning of the Iranian missiles yet not a quarter of it for the Isrealis and USA who struck first.

I saw how the Greens channelled voters’ anger – and fused it with hope. That’s why they won in Gorton and Denton | Owen Jones Starmer called the byelection a battle for the nation’s soul. This result shows Labour has lost that – and I think it will lose much more, says Guardian columnist Owen Jones

Hopefully this is a continuing trend of a turn away from the current mess

Buying an album in physical form because you heard one or two good songs on the radio from it. The rest is rubbish but you still listen to it because it cost you a fair chunk of money

I drive a fair bit due to my job, amd I honestly think I could count on one hand the amount of speed checks I seen in 2025. I've a full licence just over 20 years and never been breathalysed. I think it's at least two years since I seen a checkpoint. Enforcement is less than minimal

I've seen this doing the rounds in various guises ok other platforms. I've visions of the "loyal but dangerous" brigade sitting in silence because they're all afraid to ring someone or call to someone first!

Gave blood this morning. 50 minutes from walking into the hall to sitting back in the car. If you can give blood do, its straightforward and there is always a demand for it. #speirgorm

Why Gen Z Men Are the Most Pro-Union Generation in History: Unions Build Stable Finances Gen Z men support unions more strongly than any other group, both today and when older generations were their age. Looking at the gains from union membership for young men, it’s easy to understand why...

Gen Z men are the most pro-union generation yet, and the reason is simple: unions help workers build real financial stability.

Higher wages, better benefits, and a voice on the job matter, especially in an economy where costs keep rising and job security feels out of reach.

Vat cut for hospitality will not lead to cheaper prices, says Fiscal Council study The cut in Vat rates for the hospitality sector next July is not likely to result in a reduction in prices for consumers, the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council has warned.

An element of telling us what we already know here. The VAT cut benefits the big companies more also.
