How ironic that the Daily Telegraph looks set to be bought by the German Axel Springer group. Among their stated corporate aims is that they champion “A United Europe”.

The fact is there is no one better than Starmer to become PM at present. Yet again Labour will shoot themselves in the foot and we will end up with Farage as PM.

I like being allies with Canada, Norway, France, Denmark etc all of whom are in NATO. Trump and his administration are appalling. Giving up a nuclear deterrent is plainly stupid given the current state of the world. We should be forming closer alliances with Europe, Canada and Australia.
