A person on a bicycle to the right of me was very, very slightly outside the cycle box (ASL) so the driver was delayed by about 1-second. Really worth getting angry over!

Good to see @hackneycouncil.bsky.social is (presumably) at last resurfacing De Beauvoir Rd #Cycleway1, but ordinary 'road closed' and 'diversion' signs aren't enough. Where's the cycle specific diversion on what is meant to be a Cycleway? The obvious outcome: pavement cycling. @hackneycycling.org.uk
Check out this mouthy so-and-so this morning on #Cycleway1, who had to turn slightly slower than usual before verbally abusing people, because she thinks it's a good idea using a mostly empty car to get around in a busy city.

A gorgeous, sinuous section of elevated cycleway, looking just like a river meander, makes its way through a Dutch suburb. Nice.
The Dutch invest €595 million every year enabling everyday cycling, resulting in €19 *billion* saved in public healthcare costs.
..So for every €1 they spend on cycling, the Dutch government save their taxpayers over €30.

Every missing cycle crossing on #Cycleway1 is an injustice, but this absence of any safe crossing for people using the route to cross Amhurst Park Rd takes the absolute biscuit. How was this route even signed off without a crossing here @TfL @willnorman @hackneycouncil? 😧

When you try to give way to a child trying to cross a side road in his community in Stamford Hill, but a driver with a van full of kids has other ideas and impatiently drives on the wrong side of the road, nearly knocking the poor boy over! Disgraceful driving!
