Hello! Tales of Scale here! For the last few months, I have been navigating a severe financial hardship where, due to suddenly losing my primary income last August and the job market being unkind to folks like me, I have been at risk of losing my home to foreclosure. During this time, I have been buckling down and amassing projects, commissions and contract work wherever I can get it and that has been sustaining me for a couple months. I owe significant gratitude to everyone who has helped me now and in the past. I am working hard to get everything complete as soon as I can. Though I have been making headway, I have not been getting caught up as quickly as the banks have been charging fees and requiring larger payments to push the goalposts further outward toward default. Still, at the price of sleep and health, I am grinding on work all day-every day to get ahead. I know that if I do good work and keep at it, I will succeed. This message is meant to serve as an update for everyone to let you all know what’s going on, and I’m excited to get back to constant content creation. I would also like to mention that, if you want to help me speed up my recovery even by a bit, I have my Ko-Fi and Patreon links in my bio and this post. My checking account is constantly getting overdrawn by bills and support from the community can help me maintain a balance for things like dog, cat and human food. Moreover the sooner I get caught up, the less time I will spend operating at a speed and level that I can’t physically or mentally sustain. Thank you all so very much and I am optimistic about the future!
