I currently switch into the career of an office administrator. Or at least that's the plan. A simple job that might not take too much energy away while I can use the remaining power to create to my hearts content. Without any pressure.
Taking the pressure away might be a good thing and something that I really need right now in order to grow artistically. And who knows. Maybe I never achieve my goal to be an illustrator one day. Which is fine by me. Even tho it also hurts a little. But I guess it is what it is.
I big problem that I have , when it comes to making art, is that I overthink original projects too much. While I kept saying I love making art, there was always that voice back in my mind asking "Will this really get you hired?" and this lead into me not posting a bunch of my art.
With switching careers, I think I slowly loose the pressure of "creating for an audience" and slowly start to create for myself again.
By that I mean not overthinking if that Fanart is good or bad. If it's okay to draw Fanart in the first place.

The only way this could also work is by ignoring the role of TAV completely and instead only focusing on the Companions. But even then I have my doubts...
I think , if it's an animated show (like the ones Larian Studios made for their BG3 Updates) than I would be all in for it.
But a live action one. Unless they bring back their game actors, I don't think that this show will work.
Finished Persona 5 Royal last night. I thought BG3 will be the only game that will give me hard Post-game depression but I was wrong. I think Persona 5 Royal topped it. I cried so much during the end...the whole third semester arc was just sad. (in a good way)
Onward to Strikers, I guess!

Started to rewatch some old Anime from my childhood again.
And man, some shows really didn't age well. Like..I still love the overall theme of D.N.Angel, but the plot is so bad, I'm crying..
(I still think the OP is a banger tho!)
My Mantra for 2026 is: Do it. Regardless of how stupid you think an idea is. Do it. Bring it onto Paper.
Because you never know who you gonna reach with your idea. Maybe it's someone who feels seen through your work. Maybe you make someone smile. Maybe the idea reaches people who need it right now

I just don't want to design in this "minimalist, millenial beige" style. It's super depressing. Dear Germans, can we PLEASE bring back a bit of fun into our designs (at least in product designs?) pretty please?
Like here in Germany, I feel like Graphic Design is this super steril thing where all the fun was stripped away from (which ironically also reflects our general mood in this country).
Whenever I presented something whimsical, I got told "Too creative" ...as if it's an insult.
Ironically, I don't have those limitations as an Illustrator , as I know that there is an audience for it (mainly animation) . Yet Graphic Design is such a different stick that depends a lot on where you want to work at.
Making Graphic Design is so weird. You see all those cool designs online and think "I wanna learn how to do that too" and yet there is this little voice in your mind saying "But if you do this, no one is going to hire you!"
It stunlocked me into developing as a Designer.
