Things are going great over at X, The Everything App
Oh
End of year wall has been hit so damn hard. So burnt out. Just need to sleep for a million years but everything is breaking, quite literally.
That looks sensational
Really cool dungeon, especially the second encounter
Passed the 1000 hour mark on Destiny.
Whoops.
Now I'm on record as a Destiny 2 Jump Puzzle hater.
But holy shit.
The jump puzzles in the new exotic mission are some of the worst shit I have ever played.
Super finicky and SO annoying if you fail. I'm really enjoying Renegades but fuck me this exotic mission is testing my patience.
My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
it's so funny that Games Workshop went in twenty years from a company that made games you got beaten up in middle school for enjoying to now being the 67th most valuable company in the United Kingdom
incredible victory for kids who spent ages 11+ with a crust of super glue on their fingertips
Rockwell's "Freedom Of Speech" meme
Whenever you see this image on Bluesky you're about to read a brave post outlining a passionate and principled stand that literally 100% of this site's userbase already agrees with.
Sorting out wedding stuff and CHRIST ALIVE this shit is expensive
Looks fantastic, love that old gold/bronze
Ah. My fiancé has COVID. Well that's put a slant on this week/weekend's plans!
I just don't need to know what the Telegraph has written about Dungeons & Dragons. It's a newspaper for people who are frightened of samosas.
I REALLY want to get back into Warframe but I feel like I burnt out way too hard on it, and now it already feels like there's way too much to do/catch up on
100%
Oh I'm running a Drylands inspired Western DH adventure, what a coincidence!
Just saw the new Knives Out in the cinema. What a genuinely fantastic film. Well-constructed, thoughtful, and so much soul. Missing the cheekiness of the first two but still absolutely RIPS.
I could hear a weird hissing from on top of the fire. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be the lighter I used to light it that I'd left on top and it was hissing cos the plastic was melting and it was about to explode
I've also just thought, I wish the book gave better advice on writing new adversaries. Especially when it comes to "balancing" abilities.
Freeza from Dragon Ball saying "I'll ignore that"
The UK legal system when a trans person gets assaulted:
He's right and he should say it
1 of my 4 players really struggled with the "no initiative" thing but the other 3 got it. I think a tighter explanation in the rules around this might have helped, but I also think their system of doing this just won't be for everyone, and that's actually ok
I also have to say... I think some of the ancestries are dumb. Like really dumb. And there's too many of them. But I fully understand that that's a Me Thing.
It's not a perfect system. There's a few things that I'd really like to see, stuff like a proper price guide to items like health potions, and especially better guides for using Environments. It also needs WAY more adversaries but it's still a young system
Finished my first Daggerheart campaign on Sunday, as a GM.
I don't know if it's just Not D&D and something new but I have to say I really enjoyed it. It runs really smoothly, the players all had a great time and felt their characters had plenty of cool stuff to do

MAY I HAVE SOME OATS❓❓❓❓❓
Penelope Gritstop and Skid Vicious are outstanding
Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
