GOATed dungeon in general tbh

GOATed game (no pun intended), one of my all-time favorites, been a 5x5 entry since I first finished it. Really awesome movement in a largely mapless metroidvania environment where navigation is a real challenge and being able to schmoove properly lets you break the game wide open, 10/10, no notes

Soundtrack is however Very Cool and I remember liking elements of the story even if I thought others were woefully underdeveloped

I have somehow managed to avoid playing any of the Persona dancing games, but I find their existence simultaneously hilarious and somewhat baffling

Why is *this* the spinoff category that every modern trilogy entry has received? Why are they canon? Why... a lot of things

It's been uhhhh a whole ass decade since I replayed it, I remember having a great time with it once I consistently had a full party but have since been unable to push myself through enough of a replay to determine whether that would still be the case

Decided to take a break from campaign 4 to give this another try, definitely vibing with it more than I did last time but it's still not hooking me the way that 4 did, gonna continue to give it a shot tho in the hopes that it will eventually

31. Fanged Revenge (Critical Role C4E08)

Pretty wild session, what a great combat and what fantastic roleplaying particularly from Sam and Whitney, Brennan standing up and doing a gleeful lap around the table will probably be etched into my brain forever lmfao

The dice seem absolutely determined to make Wick into the actual factual messiah, huh, lmfao. This was another great episode with some surprisingly intense moments and some really nice plot developments that I thoroughly enjoyed

29. Knives and Thorns (Critical Role C4E06)

Some really good character beats this episode and hints at a lot of really interesting mysteries. I already loved Thimble and every additional episode sells me on her even more. Also the blade's surprise enchantment was a stroke of genius

28. Branching Paths (Critical Role C4E05)

I was a little worried that I wasn't going to enjoy this as much once the overture's breakneck pace gave way to the campaign proper but no, this is still really, *really* good. Brennan Lee Mulligan is a gift to humanity

Same, I think my wrist is just not the right shape for them or something, in order for them to not jiggle around distractingly all day I have to make them uncomfortably tight to where I worry about cutting off circulation

I was spoiled on a good chunk of what happened in this episode and it was *still* an insanely tense, riveting, and emotional roller coaster. Props to everyone involved, man, holy *fucking* shit.

Okay there was a LOT that happened this episode and it's all getting a little hard to keep track of tbh lol, but damn do I love the characters, especially Murray and Thimble, watching all these incredibly talented actors interact is beyond delightful

25. Broken Wing (Critical Role C4E02)

Hey it took me a hot minute but I did it, I finished a second episode of a Critical Role campaign! Not as packed as the first episode but some really fantastic moments in here that actually made me more excited about watching the rest than E1 as a whole did
