The Board of Immigration Appeals has issued a final administrative removal order against Mahmoud Khalil. His lawyers, who anticipated this, said it didn’t impact the status quo, they’ll appeal to the 5th Circuit, & that he cannot be detained while his habeas case is pending.

Many will be forced into default.

First: Don’t let your member of Congress off the hook. Student debt is a policy failure that Congress created, and we don’t need more “income driven repayment” plans that have never worked in the past.

People who rush to switch plans might regret it if the courts reexamine the case at all.

Make no mistake. When the Republicans voted to pass Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” they voted to hike your payment to the point where millions will simply not have the resources to pay.

The Trump administration wants to hike your monthly student loan payment.

That is not hyperbole.

To do that, they are trying to scare you into taking action that would trigger repayment immediately. Again, you have some time.

You have until September to figure out what to do.

If you have federal student debt, you may have recently received an email from the Department of Education telling student debtors who are in the SAVE forbearance to switch plans.

We want to encourage you to not rush this next step.

Take a deep breath. You have until September.

The Trump admin is full-on financially destroying student debtors right now without much of a fight from big national Democrats.

They're raising payments, transferring a $2 trillion portfolio to an entirely different agency with no oversight, etc

Schumer, Jeffries and Dems are silent.

Kat ran a beast of a campaign and honestly did it with minimal outside help.

Dismissing her campaign makes you unserious, not her.

The take I haven’t seen yet…I don’t think Donna Miller will stick with AIPAC for long. Just like Foushee and Dexter moved…she will eventually disavow AIPAC.

The in-district pressure won’t just go away because the primary ended.

But the guy coordinating also has a company called Advocators AI, which just won an award for work for…Daniel Biss — her opponent.

One of the campaigns the company boasts about promotes trips to Israel.

Dark money groups are paying influencers to spread attacks about our campaign.

Voters deserve to know who is trying to manipulate our election.

Now it makes sense why AIPAC just dropped over $1 million in attack ads & mailers against @katmabu.bsky.social.
