Completely agree. There are no writing rules, only writing tools. Adverbs, telling and showing are all things with +/- that you can use to get the effects on your reader you want. At least, that's how I've always seen it.

God, that first bit about tools really makes me sound like one 🤣

As someone who went from having fuck all followers on IG to having so many it's literally my biggest platform, here's my insight.

1) Make short reels (<30 seconds) to reach non-followers to build a following

2) Make posts to reach your current followers to build a community

Every single episode has at least one moment that would have had child me climbing the walls.

3.2k words on Voidborn written this weekend, including Malan and Tarai finally meeting, and some cool system stuff.

Added to that is 2 paid Patreon sign ups this week (now up to £30!!?!), and it finally feels like I'm moving forward again instead of back.
