Have looked at those. I have old Bushnell Ensigns 7x25 for my hiking. They are from the Bausch & Lomb days so they are well made but suffer in lower light.

This week I get back to exercising. Finished my part of bath remodel at daughters. Tile work, niche, trim, flooring done except for a few details like towel rods, grab handle, etc. Med cabinet door is also a picture frame. Next week walking/hiking in our plans.

lol, I've been wondering how long this could last? And of course, many of the nuts will come out of the woodwork in complete denial that this could be the truth finally. Probably the flat earth believing conspiracy types. Grab your lawn chair and some popcorn, its going to be interesting.

They are all doing that. Recently had more delays and misplaced items by UPS lately or FEDEX Ground. One package a few months ago was shipped to within 20 minutes of me and must have stayed in a cargo container and flew out to Colorado. It took almost 2 weeks from leaving the shipper to arrive.

You can always send that bad one in for repair later. Thats how I've ended up with so many.

...and they just had a refinery fire/explosion. I'm wondering if it was sabotage?

Do an online search. You will pay to send it the repair center. I think Victorinox does NJ the us. They will repair the knife for way less than the price of a new. I gave one of my reconditioned ones to my son-n-law. I have about 6 SAK.

I'm just saying there had to be signs before that hike. Somehow its was likely ignored that these men were jerks (being nice) before the episodes. The situations were in the making and these girlfriends needed to question their choice before they were in harms way.

Subfloor repair. Fixing a 16 yr old extremely poor fix from prior owners.

Subfloor repair. Fixing a 16 yr old extremely poor fix from prior owners.

Spent the weekend fixing a 16 yr old, bad subfloor repair at daughters house. Son-in-law and daughter have no issue tackling anything with me. I'll post a done picture when the room is finished.

Florida Keys, decades ago on slide.

Florida Keys, decades ago on slide.

An old picture I took in the Keys on the day after Lennon was shot in NYC. On Kodachrome 25 , Fujica ST901 with Sigma 24mm Filtermatic lens. Scanned the old print.

The USPS is supposed to be a service agency just like others the US runs. Not always supposed to be profit based. We pay taxes for services, just do it.

Kudos, many states over here have something and there are long hiking trails, the PCT, AT and such. Now I can imagine people hiking the entire UK loop like many do trails here.

very cool. I haven't been there since the 70s. Posted an old picture from there about 20 of posts back. It was winter surf and we were pretty tired after a day in big surf. The hike back up to the car in a wetsuit was rough.

Our house is fine. We've taken out 17 trees on our property in about 25 yrs. Only one fell years ago and damaged our shed. The new one worked being sale priced during the pandemic and our insurance took care of much of it.

NE Ohio is being hit with winds up to 85 mph gusts. Nobody allowed on the turnpike with a trailer. We just heard a huge gust, our house shook and a neighbor lost a big tree. Expecting 50-60 mph winds until 2am.

I think a boycott on any of the Weyco shoe brands is in the works now or should be. I'll never wear any of those again.

Old pics, same trail. Went for my first run/hike in a month. Did 1.76 miles in 35 min on hilly terrain. The trail has 110' in elevation change. My vertical gain running up hills, close to 300'. Wore my 18l hydration pack with about 10 lbs of gear. Reversed the loops , climbed these steps twice.

That backyard project will be a garden. Haven't had one in years but its looking necessary. At least tomatoes, lettuce, etc. The only thing we still have growing is chives. Maybe I'll add potatoes to my crops.

BTW, I'm not far across Lake Erie. You are our good neighbors to North. Have to let you know some of us down here are sane. We were looking at new passports to get up to Toronto just before the pandemic hit. Our last trip there was 20 yrs ago.

From what was just said on a Cleveland news channel this may not mean the tariffs set since Orange came into office are refunded. They might remain in force, just going forward he can't impose new ones. I'm not as happy as I was before that broadcast. My take, we will still be paying higher prices.

OK...coffee is done, now to get up off my butt and go for groceries while my wife sits on the couch and reads a new book.

Hope everyone is enjoying the day.
