Moments of holiday spirit. Greens shared by a friend turned into a wreath for our front door. Snow at the beach. Warmed figs with chèvre, toasted pecans and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar to go with our Tequiladventure! Quiet hand appliqué while listening to Christmas music.

I have always loved text on quilts and a Guild Mate shared the fabric info and Ruby Star Society has a tutorial…so/sew…🪡🧵💙 I’m giddy with this. 😍

Someone else always did this. Until they didn’t. Then we assumed the responsibility, lovingly. Happy Hallowe’en.

Fresh from our garden, with the addition of CSA produce, this morning I made 12+ cups of roasted vegetable sauce.😋Grocery prices are higher than I have ever seen, and this is one delicious and nutritious way we can resist and persist.

I’m working to create a “banner” that won’t run/smear if it gets wet and that can also be folded and easily transported. I will use procion dyes to fill in the letters with permanent colors. 😉🌈💙💪🏻
