Woah, this isn’t the drama I want to see coming from the library - only the stuff written on the pages!

Feeling petty. Can we cite them for littering?

What I remember was hearing it running as we were leaving. Basement seemed dry, at least for now.

Hard to believe just 10 years ago it was still 7.99. Tripling in a decade. Oof.

And the ADU above the single car garage is the smallest thing, it’s so sad.

A large house for sale in Del Ray for almost $3 million

A large house for sale in Del Ray for almost $3 million

Toured this house over the weekend. It is an incredible build, but while it’s very nice and all, I can’t imagine paying $3million for a home that isn’t 2 blocks from a beach.

Great yard, has a (super tiny) adu, and is next to an apartment complex. Should prob be a quad on this size lot.

#DRBC Friday. Status quo on shed. Hopefully progress this month once we get the tax return. Maybe a Laderach Luau in May

I don’t usually have a contribution to this sort of thing, but at the exact moment I read your take, I got a text that said “Macys always has decent deals” and figured that’s likely as good as it will get

Honestly don’t know. Maybe sponsorships. And if they win?

This makes me seem silly given these are literally the best players in the world.

I didn’t think the Olympics tickets would be free, but I didn’t expect $500 each for a few volleyball games. Wowza

For his argument to hold, we must assume that it was driver frustration here (no evidence) and not structural failures leading to the behavior we saw. And as you say, we must also assume that it’s better public policy to reduce driver frustration over promoting structural/behavioral solutions.

Yes exactly. The argument requires too many unsupported assumptions that have contrary evidence, but the gymnastics here involve refuting the validity of the evidence —and the methods of obtaining it—against his position. A very Trumpian “election was stolen” tactic.

I respect this person but… to say in one sentence that the reasoning of the improvements is flawed and in the very next sentence acknowledge the inherent structural differences between the area experienced and the area of the plan seems to me to be itself flawed reasoning… but what do I know.

Hanks pasta was one of the first restaurants we went to in Alexandria. We were sad to see them go and then happy when they returned :)
