AES128 is quite secure and AES256 is even more so. This constitutes the vast majority of how things are encrypted. The problem is asymmetric encryption RSA and ECDSA. RSA has been broken up to 1k keys. Time will move that to 2k and up. ECDSA is harder to break but is used less frequently.

The constitution was written at a time when public office was considered a privilege and only honorable people (men) would hold office. Trump has shown us that that assumption was wrong and he could not care less about the constitution.
