Proud new PI moment this week…TWO of my Honors undergrad students got research grants for next year!! They both had to write proposals that we worked on together. I get $1,500 for each of them ($3,000 total). They get a nice stipend to work in the lab for the year 🥳🥳

I get one semester of teaching release in my first year which I decided to take next semester. Most of my equipment will arrive my then so it should be fun starting experiments & training students.
